Community guidelines
Petsup is a friendly place for pet lovers. By using Petsup you agree to: 1. Be kind. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats or personal attacks. 2. Protect animals. Content showing, promoting or encouraging animal abuse, cruelty, neglect or animal fighting is forbidden and may be reported to authorities. 3. No illegal or unethical sales. Puppy mills, unlicensed breeding, sale of protected or endangered species, and sale of animals where prohibited by law are not allowed. 4. No scams or fraud. Fake lost/found reports, fake adoption or rescue appeals, fake vet clinics, and requests for advance payments for animals you do not own are forbidden. 5. Be honest. Do not impersonate other people, pets, vets, shelters or brands. Do not spread false medical advice. 6. Keep it safe. No nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, self-harm content or content involving minors in unsafe situations. 7. No spam. No repetitive posting, misleading links, unauthorized advertising or fake engagement. 8. Respect privacy. Do not share other people's personal information (addresses, phone numbers, documents) without permission. 9. Respect copyright. Only post photos and videos you own or have permission to share. 10. Lost & Found posts must be genuine and should be marked resolved once the pet is home. Enforcement: reported content is reviewed by the Petsup team. We may remove content, issue warnings, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. Reporter identities are kept private.
Terms of service
Welcome to Petsup. These Terms govern your use of the Petsup website and services. 1. Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Petsup. 2. Your account. You are responsible for your account, keeping your password secure, and all activity on it. Provide accurate information. 3. Your content. You own what you post. By posting, you give Petsup a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it on the platform. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to post it. 4. Acceptable use. You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. You must not hack, scrape, overload or misuse the service. 5. Moderation. Petsup may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the law, at our discretion. 6. Store & payments. Product prices, availability and descriptions may change. Orders may be cancelled in case of errors or suspected fraud. 7. Vets & services. Vet listings and AI Assistant answers are for general information only and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. In an emergency, contact a licensed vet immediately. 8. Lost & Found. Petsup helps connect people but does not verify ownership and is not responsible for meetings or exchanges between users. Meet in safe public places. 9. Disclaimer. Petsup is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law. 10. Termination. You may stop using Petsup at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations. 11. Changes. We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. 12. Contact. Privacy policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect and why. 1. Information we collect: account details (name, email, optional phone), profile and pet information, posts, photos, videos, comments, messages, reports, and approximate location when you choose to share it (e.g. lost/found pets, events). 2. How we use it: to run Petsup, show your content, connect you with other pet lovers, send notifications, keep the platform safe, prevent fraud and improve features. 3. What others can see: public posts, profile name and photo are visible to other members. Private messages and message attachments are visible only to conversation participants. The identity of people who report content is never shown to the reported user. 4. Sharing: we do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Petsup (hosting, storage, email), or when required by law. 5. Security: data is stored securely with access controls. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password. 6. Your choices: you can edit your profile, change your email and password in Settings, adjust privacy and notification settings, and delete your posts at any time. To delete your account, contact us. 7. Retention: we keep data while your account is active, and remove it within a reasonable time after deletion unless required for legal or safety reasons. 8. Children: Petsup is not intended for children under 13. 9. Changes: we may update this policy and will show the latest version on this page.
